"If your school have not yet had the pleasure of listening to Satveer speak, then you need to book her now! It is rare to find someone as engaging and as powerful as her and she delivers her message with humour, directness and considerable empathy. Our pupils and staff loved it. It's not often you get that sort of feedback."
R, Smith, Headteacher, (Moyles Court School, 2024)

“On behalf of Thomas Knyvett College, I would like to thank Satveer for delivering such amazing and inspirational sessions to every year group at TKC. I have received fantastic feedback from the students and staff surrounding the mental health session that was delivered by Satveer. The session has developed a culture of openness and honesty amongst our community, and we are extremely grateful for this. The way that Satveer delivered was engaging, honest and inspirational providing a growth in relationship at every opportunity. The superb session involved clear and concise information delivered in an innovative and sensitive manner, thank you for sharing your story and providing more understanding for our young people at Thomas Knyvett College."
Katy Heselden, 5Cs and PSHE Coordinator

"Satveer delivered a session for our social care conference that was accessed by colleagues from different services. The session was engaging and despite the large number of attendees, Satveer gained a high level of active participation. Satveer brings a ‘no frills’ openness and honestly that was truly refreshing, and we could have listened to her for much longer than the time we had available. From speaking with colleagues after the conference, I know that Satveer was the highlight, and they had tangible ‘takeaways’ for their practice – we couldn’t ask for anything more!"
Emma Evans, Dorset Council

“Satveer’s delivery style is empowering and inspirational. To deliver such a taboo topic in a non-confrontational or judging way is fantastic. It has really supported me going forward with the language I use and how I approach dealing with students in distress. After being a part of the student, staff and parental session, I would highly recommend this training to any school! Satveer spent the whole day with us delivering 4 student sessions, 1 parental session and an extended staff training session, she is absolutely fantastic!”
Miss Wilkes (Director of Behaviour, PD & Senior Mental Health Lead)

“Satveer's sessions were very engaging and informative. During the student sessions, it was lovely to see how involved pupils were and how comfortable they felt to be open and honest about mental health in Satveer's presence and in the presence of their peers. The staff session was really useful, and I feel it has given me the tools I need to use better language when supporting students.”
Mrs Capper (Director of MFL)

"Satveer your candid approach and ability to deliver the training with such honesty, humour and enthusiasm is nothing short of genius.
I have worked in the NHS for 28 years and without a shadow of a doubt this training day was by far the best I have ever attended. You were able to keep me engaged throughout the day, you involved everyone, kept us all invested throughout the day.
I can honestly say that I came away from there buzzing, I feel I gained so much from you. Your knowledge, experience and the way you delivered that to us will certainly make me think more criticality about my approach when working with a client who self-harms, will help me to think about the language I use and you certainly gave me knowledge and confidence in how to support someone in my setting who self-harms."
H (Gloucestershire Health & Care professional, 2024)

“We found Satveer’s' presentation inspirational, moving, thought provoking and light hearted, all at the same time. It really made us think about the nuance of our language when people who self-harm call Samaritans. Satveer is a passionate speaker and involves everyone, exploding the myths we can sometimes have about people who self-harm.”
Lynne, Branch Director (Chester and District Samaritans, 2025)

“I thoroughly enjoyed the CPD this evening. Satveer’s ability to convey difficult concepts in a clear and direct manner was exceptional. The entire presentation was thought provoking and delivered in a super reflective way. I feel like I learned a lot.”
Miss Spencer (Director of Classroom Inclusion)

“This is my 9th year at OHA, 15th in education, and the CPD session with Satveer was by far the best CPD session I have ever had.”
Mr Salt (Teacher of Maths)

“I found the training to be extremely thoughtful. It gave me chance to reflect on my own practice and convinced me that building relationships with students is one of the main priorities to enable a productive atmosphere. This then allows effective learning as students feel supported.”
Mr Maher, RSL for Year 10 (Ormiston Horizon Academy, 2024)

“I think that the assembly we had today that was based around mental health was good because it inspired me to speak to people about my problems instead of hiding away. The speaker’s words inspired me to always make sure that someone is ok and to never bully someone because you don’t know what is going on in their life. I think this assembly really helped a lot of people know that its ok to speak about your problems and to not be embarrassed."
Student, Yr 11 (Ormiston Horizon Academy, 2024)

“Thank you so much for the session today, it was very helpful and put across in an easy-to-understand way."
Parent/Carer, (Ormiston Horizon Academy, 2024)

“Thank you for today's session it was so enlightening and for the first time in a long time I feel like I've been given some really practical advice and a little bit of hope."
Parent/Carer (Ormiston Horizon Academy, 2024)

“I found the talk very inspirational and useful; Satveer was charismatic, funny, and delivered the information in such a way that I'm sure captivated everyone's attention. The talk itself raised many important topics that people are often afraid of bringing up and created a safe environment for students. Hearing her story inspired me to never give up and I know that many people were resonating with parts of it. It was an incredible experience that I hope many others will be able to experience.”
Student (Denmark Road High School, 2024)

“To say we all greatly enjoyed it is a lie, to say we all hated it and bored ourselves to death would also be a lie. We have had many assemblies about mental health and so, we expected to sit down, sleep our way through the assembly, not take in a single thing, and then go back to class. But this wasn't what we presumed it to be, in a good way. I think what was so clever about Satveer's assembly was how she presented it. She knew that if she just read stuff off the screen, it would go in one ear and come out the other. So, she got us hooked from the very beginning and her jokes and acting deserves all the credit. I don't think there wasn't a single person watching that assembly who didn't laugh at least once. But that didn't mean Satveer ridiculed and undermined the significance of mental health. She joked around at the beginning to make sure we all listened at the end. She made the assembly engaging whilst keeping the seriousness of the issues raised present during her speech. It was definitely moving and anyone with a good heart would've been taken aback with everything we heard. Nonetheless, like Satveer said, I believe it's important to talk about hard topics if it helps stop someone from facing an even harder situation. Hence, I just want to thank Satveer for taking her incredibly tough hardships and turning it into something positive that can prevent other young people from experiencing something similar. Everyone I asked told me the assembly was 'emotional' and if I had to sum up what I thought about this assembly, it would be this: greatly needed.”
Student (Denmark Road High School, 2024)

“I just wanted to send the school an email to express how impressed and grateful I am as a parent, that you take so much effort to organise these wonderful experiences for our children. My daughter has been absolutely buzzing this evening and telling us about the assembly. She shared Satveer's story and is feeling inspired and empowered and has taken away a lot of positive things.”
Parent (Denmark Road High School, 2024)

“May I just say that was some of the best CPD I've had in a long time. And I'm an old bird! Absolutely brilliant. If you didn't attend, you missed a trick! Very thought provoking, excellent delivery, sensitive and engaging. Hilarious too, if that's not too inappropriate considering the delicate nature of the topic. Lots of takeaways to implement straightaway."
Teacher (Pittville School, 2024)

“Satveer has an amazing ability to make such an important and difficult topic accessible to all. Students and staff were engaged and actively participating throughout the talks. The information and guidance offered to staff was clear and concise, they have walked away from the training with enthusiasm and high praise for the delivery of the session. Thank you to Satveer for coming to the school, I would highly recommend her to any organisation wanting to raise awareness of Self-Harm.”
Parin Gohil, Deputy Head (Winchcombe School, 2024)

“Satveer's engaging delivery and excellent presentation to staff and students alike is a revelation. She related so well to students and delivered on difficult topics with expert care and good humour thrown in. Students were gripped and left with a really good understanding of how to get help when suffering with poor mental health, and she offered healthy challenge around the language that students use in a really thought-provoking way. I cannot recommend enough booking her to work with your KS3 and KS4 students”
Ruth Wood, Head of RSHE (Pittville School Cheltenham, 2024)

“I recently had the pleasure of attending a talk on self-harm at our local secondary school, and the speaker Satveer was nothing short of amazing. I am a bullet point gal so here's what stood out:
Engaging and Funny: Despite the heavy topic, Satveer managed to incorporate humour in a sensitive and thoughtful way. Her ability to make the audience laugh without diminishing the seriousness of the subject was truly impressive.
Informative and Insightful: She delivered an incredible amount of information, from the reasons behind self-harm to strategies for supporting those affected. Everything was explained clearly and compassionately, leaving me feeling informed and able to walk away and put things taught into practise. She also provided a handout for me to refer back to.
Supportive and Relatable: Satveer created a safe and welcoming environment, making it easy for people to connect with her and the content. Her supportive tone and personal anecdotes made the topic feel approachable and less overwhelming.

Overall, Satveer brought a perfect balance of humour, knowledge, and compassion to a challenging subject. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to foster understanding and support around self-harm. I think every school should have this talk put on for parents, as this affects most people either directly or indirectly.”
Chantal, Parent (Hinchley Wood School, 2024)

“Just wanted to thank you for your amazing inset talk you gave for us. You were the most compelling speaker, and I have never heard that hall so quiet as you spoke, you must have given everyone lots of food for thought! You have a brilliant skill for making people feel seen without feeling spotlighted. Thank you for what you do!”
Gabbi (Blessed Edward School, 2025)

“We are a FE college and are seeing an unprecedented rise in self-harm amongst our students. Staff felt ill-equipped to deal with this and so we invited Satveer in to run a session. The session was fun, informative and so engaging and Satveer's delivery style was really accessible, bringing warmth and humour to this challenging subject. Staff were able to really understand how to support students and left with the tools and knowledge they needed going forward. We would thoroughly recommend Satveer and will be inviting her back for further sessions with our staff and students.”
Claire Cooper, Head of Student Experience (North Hertfordshire College, 2024)

"Satveer held a two hour CPD session on Self Harm, the room was absolutely captivated with her knowledge, personal experience and delivery of such a sensitive topic. I would highly recommend to anyone out there who is after some self-harm awareness training - an absolute must."
